When emergencies force us to act quickly, frontline workers step forward without hesitation, ready to help.
It’s moments like these that show just how important their quick responses are. Over the past week, major wildfires in the Los Angeles area have forced thousands of residents to evacuate and left even more people without power. Firefighters, power crews, and emergency responders are now working tirelessly to protect our communities from these devastating fires.
Through this crisis, we continue to see incredible acts of courage in the field. Here are just a few ways that our customers are helping as thousands of people face displacement and uncertainty.
The LA Regional Food Bank is working tirelessly to stock emergency food stations and deliver supplies to evacuation centers across the county.
CORE is distributing supplies like N95 masks and hygiene kits to displaced and vulnerable families to help protect them from the poor air quality. They’re also setting up charging stations at locations like the Pasadena Shelter so evacuees can stay connected with friends and family.
The FirstMed Ambulance Services team is on the ground providing critical emergency medical care and coordinating evacuations across the LA area. Special thanks to EMS Office Manager Sia Nouri and team for their efforts!
Medtrans’s crews are working around the clock to transport patients to care facilities to help them safely and quickly get the medical care they need. Thank you to EMT Operations Manager Michael Debesirian and team for helping to keep the community safe.
Our frontline workers protect lives and restore essential services, even in extremely dangerous conditions. Thank you for being heroes when we need you most. Our hearts go out to everyone who is impacted by these fires and we are committed to helping you stay safe and keep your operations running.
